Hi there. It’s Donna and Carol from Impressed Home Care and we’re here to just quickly go through some frequently asked questions.
Will the caregiver come on the same day and the same time every week?
Yes, they will, as far as possible. But there is flexibility as well. Will it always be the same person?
Will it always be the same person?
Yes, predominantly it will be. However, we have illnesses, we have holidays and so we will endeavour to put someone with your loved one. And Carol or I would be there too, to just introduce them to all the caregiver’s background checks.
We have two references for each of the caregivers and they are police checked or hold a PBG
Can they do different things every week?
Yes, they can. It’s a bespoke service, so we can chop and change week to week, whatever the client wishes.
Do I pay the caregiver after each visit?
No, you don’t.
You will be invoiced for the service.
What happens if I need to cancel a visit?
You can cancel a visit but please try to give us as much notice as possible.
Can the caregiver take you out?
Yes, they can take you out for a coffee shop, a trip to the shops or even just for a wee walk.
Do you have insurance?
Yes, we do have insurance. For anything that should go wrong? Hopefully nothing, but yeah, we do have insurance covered.
What measures do you take to ensure client privacy?
All the caregivers are told that everything is private and they’re not to talk about the client to anybody out with Home Care.
Are your services customised to meet specific needs?
Yes, they are. Impressed home care is a bespoke service.
